Daily Bible readings for 2014

Bible studyAt this time of year, many of us will be thinking about New Year's resolutions or goals for 2014. Perhaps one of yours is to read the Bible more often, or maybe more of it. It can be difficult to know where to start though...

To help people read God's Word and get a lot out of it, I have created a new website: Each day in 2014, I will be posting a different portion of the Bible — sometimes just a single verse; other days it might be a whole chapter — and presenting some thought-provoking questions and perhaps a prayer to encourage you in your personal time with God.

I will sometimes concentrate on a particular book of the Bible or a specific character; other times I'll explore themes such as 'grace' and 'salvation'.

If you've been dipping into the Bible now and then, why not start the New Year with a commitment to reading something from the Bible every day in 2014? You can subscribe to the site to receive each day's verses by email, and if you'd like to see an example page, click here.

Happy reading!
