KING’S CHURCH BLOG

9th January 2014

Once enemies; now together!

Ephesians 2:11-18

This passage can be a little difficult to understand. What it's talking about is two groups of people who once despised each other now being brought together in Christ: whether Jew or non-Jew, Christ and his spilt blood have become our peace. "So through [Jesus] we both have access by one Spirit to the Father."
It's the same today – nationality, history or education should move to the background, with our unity in Christ taking pre-eminence. Let's pray for unity in the church.

Our two weeks of prayer run from 5-19 January. Join us on Sunday at 7am in Coffee Box to pray.
For other prayer meeting times and dates, visit the calendar.
