Church: a dwelling place for God

Ephesians 2:19-22

This is one of my favorite sections of the bible. Paul uses the illustration of the Old Testament temple and the fact it was the dwelling place for God. It isn't any longer – the Church is now where God lives; not a stone building, but a community – established on apostolic, prophetic foundations with Christ himself as the cornerstone.
Whenever we gather – whether it's in Community Groups, Link, Totz, Soul or Sundays – we are the dwelling place of God.
Pray for greater expectation that when we meet together, God will manifest His presence and do marvellous things.

Our two weeks of prayer run from 5-19 January. Join us at 7am on Sunday in Coffee Box to pray.
For other prayer meeting times and dates, visit the calendar.
