Family God Talk is your chance to keep up to date with God together as a family, spending time worshipping, praying and chatting through what God's been doing in your lives as a family.
This week in Totz (0-4s) we are starting the Christmas story by looking at John the Baptist.
This week in NRG (4-7s) and N:Gage (7-11s) we are having a Praise Party to celebrate the end of our series on Walking and Talking with God. We will be worshipping altogether and watching the story of Noah from the Jesus Storybook Bible. Noah walked and talked with God all through his life, even in the most desperate of times when no one else would listen to God or believe in God's promises. Think about the promises of God over your family and thank him for being faithful in all his ways.
Last Sunday in NRG and N:Gage we had our Family Prayground. Hopefully your children will have brought home their prayer passport which they started to fill in as they visited all the different prayer stations. Ask your child to show them their Prayer Passoorts and see if you can help them fill in some more as you talk and pray about the different ways of connecting with God.
The Hastings Christian Schools Work Team have been running a wonderful event all this week called The Life Exhibition encouraging visiting schools to think about who Jesus was and how he is relevant in our lives today. Many of the Year 5 and 6 Children from the local schools have visited and seen the exhibition. Ask your children if they went and what they thought of it. We went down to take a look and were very impressed at how well thought out this exhibition is, with plenty of interaction through the use of tablets, films and discussion with the volunteers, the children are given the opportunity to look at the person of Jesus and hear the gospel. Thank God for all the seed that has been sown in the children this week.
