Family God Talk is your chance to keep up to date with God together as a family, spending time worshipping, praying and chatting through what God's been doing in your lives.
This week in Totz (0-4s) We are looking at how God sees the good stuff inside of us even when other people don't. We'll be sharing a story about Matthew the Tax collector who Jesus called to be his disciple. A disciple is someone who loves God and follows him no matter what. Even though people didn’t see the good in Matthew, God did. Matthew knew that chasing after money wasn’t as good as chasing after God!
This week in NRG (4-7s) and N:Gage (7-11s) we are continuing our series for the term on being on a journey with God. We'll be looking at how much God loves his people all over the world and how he longs for every person to come to know him. He equips us as Christians to tell others about him and he sends his Holy Spirit to make us brave.
In NGage we'll be learning about the disciple Stephen "a man full of the Holy Spirit and of faith" who became the first Christian martyr. Also we'll be looking at the life and work of the missionary George Muller who rescued thousands of orphans from the streets of Bristol in the 19th Century. What made these people so sold out for others?
In NRG we are spending time thinking about the Holy Spirit and how he gave the first friends of Jesus a special understanding of who God was and this meant that they knew how to look after people in the church really well. It was really important that they kept being filled with the Holy Spirit because they were Jesus’ leaders and they needed to be growing and listening to God all the time.
