Bible Reading Apps for Families

Family God Talk is your chance to keep up to date with God together as a family, spending time worshipping, praying and chatting through what God's been doing in your lives.

In Totz this week we will be reading about the Last Supper. Jesus told his disciples to always remember what he was going to do for them – that he was going to make a way for us to know God forever. Have a look at the story together here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eql5wEkPb-Q

Lots of families have been asking us for resources to use with their families during weekly family devotional time. This week we've put together information on free apps you can download to help you read the Bible together. Your children can also download them to help them with their own walk with God as they develop an independent daily walk with God. We hope you enjoy them. Let us know what you would like to see here and what would help you to meet with God as a family on a daily or weekly basis.

Family God Talk 26.02.17

Family God Talk is your chance to keep up to date with God together as a family, spending time worshipping, praying and chatting through what God's been doing in your lives.

This week in Totz (0-4s) we are looking at the story of Saul in the Bible. Saul wasn’t a good man, but he met God and everything changed. He even got a new name! Find out more about Saul by reading his amazing story in Acts 9:1-17 Then praise God for situations in your family life that he has changed for good. You could sing along to this song: God is so good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg3bvbDVUTg

This week in NRG (4-7s) and N:Gage (7-11s) we are continuing our series for the term on being on a journey with God. We'll be looking at how God has a plan for each of his children and when he shows us the plan and asks us to do something for him we need to be listening and ready to step up to it. We found out about Philip who went on an afternoon mission to give the gospel to a stranger and Dan Glover and Maddi Sparks visited N:Gage to tell us all about short-term mission trips on their Impact year last year.

Family God Talk 12.02.17

Family God Talk is your chance to keep up to date with God together as a family, spending time worshipping, praying and chatting through what God's been doing in your lives.

This week in Totz (0-4s) we are looking at the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 19:1-10. We learned that spending time with Jesus is better than anything else. Over half-term spend some time with Jesus together as a family, he promises to come and be with you. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

This week in NRG (4-7s) and N:Gage (7-11s) we are continuing our series for the term on being on a journey with God. We'll be looking at how much God loves his people all over the world and how he longs for every person to come to know him. He equips us as Christians to tell others about him and he sends his Holy Spirit to make us brave.

In NRG we looked at the gifts God gives us and how we can use them for him. We read the story of the master who gave his three servants different talents Matthew 25:14-30 and we discovered what they did with the talents and what the master said to them.

In NGage we learned about the disciple Barnabas, also known as "Son of Encouragement" who became a missionary with Paul. Also we looked at the life and work of the missionary Gladys Aylward and her incredible journey to inland China during the war.  What made these people so sold out for others?
