Friday nights of high energy activities, dynamic worship, provoking seminars and crazy trips are just part of the youth work at King’s. Soul is for those in school years 7-9, and for years 10-13 we run d:voted. Once a month we bring the two age groups together for Sync, where our own youth passionately lead worship. On Sunday mornings, we run Soul on Sunday (SOS) fortnightly – usually the first and third Sundays of the month.

The youth work is led by Simon & Carol Dipple. It has been said that when Simon smiles, pigs can be seen in the sky, and yet he can often be found laughing at his own jokes! He inspired cyclist Bradley Wiggins; his sideburns have a personality of their own. Carol likes to find out how to say “I’ve lost my penguin” in as many languages as possible: at the last count she knew this phrase in eight! She is a very good listener and always has time for people.

Soul (years 7-9)

Soul events are a mixture of sports, crazy games, yummy food and hanging out together. Our Chill ‘n’ Chat evenings focus on developing great friendships and supporting one another as we live life for God. We meet at various places, depending on what fun activity we have planned, but mainly at the Hastings Centre. Ask for a cool Soul diary, which has loads of info on it, especially all of our amazing events coming up, or check out the calendar.

d:voted (years 10-13)

d:voted is a group of great guys and girls who meet regularly to hang out, have fun, eat cake, talk about life, learn about God and get to know other people. Check out the calendar for dates and details.

Sync (years 7-13)

Sync brings together Soul and d:voted monthly for dynamic worship, great teaching, fun, games, laughter and provoking seminars. If that's not enough, sometimes we even throw in cakes as well.

All of our children’s and youth workers are DBS police-checked and trained to follow our Safeguarding Children Policy.
