SELECTED STORY: FINDING JOY, SAFETY AND PROVISION

“From a struggling care worker who stole left-over sandwiches after dinner, I became a lonely woman because I had left my husband and two daughters in Zimbabwe...”

Lynette John-Roberts
When I came to England in October 2002, I had $55 (US). From a struggling care worker who stole left-over sandwiches after dinner, I became a lonely woman because I had left my husband and two daughters in Zimbabwe.

After much prayer and favour with friends, my family joined me in 2005. I now have a job I love, three children, friends who mean the world to me. I attend a fantastic Bible-believing church.

I am a blessed woman indeed. I find great joy in the safety and provision that God has afforded me and my family. I thank God for my loving husband too.
