Megamix

Mega-Mix is where you’ll find our 85 four to eleven year old children every Sunday morning. Through a fun, bible-based curriculum we aim to take the children on in their God adventure. Building on all they are learning at home, Sunday mornings in the Alpha room are a mixture of worship, teaching, prayer and outreach, plus messy games and entertainment! We aim to deliver an action-packed morning, flexible and varied enough to engage our wide age range in being active in their faith.

Beyond Sunday mornings we work alongside Kidz Klub to build up and encourage a wider group of children in their faith. Church children invite their friends on Sunday morning, which has led to some recent salvations, and to events throughout the year such as the MAD Days (Multi Activity Days) which are in their 4th year and where friends outnumber church children 2:1.

As our oldest children make the transition to the Youth Group we take them through a BOB (Building On Basics) Discipleship Course. This course is run like a children’s cell and it is great to see real growth over the 6 sessions.

The Team

Our Team is made up of enthusiastic, multi-skilled, inter-generational church members who all enjoy the privilege of working with this age-group. The Teams involved are:

- Core Team: Plan and Deliver Mega-Mix

- Active Team: working with the children in all the activities and caring for younger ones and those with special needs

- Set-up Team: Saturdays 5.30-6.30pm anyone who has a heart to help the Main Team be ready to go for it on a Sunday

Most people serve on alternate months however some choose to serve one Sunday each month.
