The Hastings Centre

The Hastings Centre was originally built as an indoor sports arena, but has been extensively refurbished as a high-quality conference facility.

It is set in a tranquil and easily accessible location opposite the Conquest Hospital on The Ridge.

Meeting room facilities

Main Auditorium
The main auditorium is one of the largest single-level floor spaces in Hastings, seating up to 2,000 people.

It is equipped with a modern PA system, video projector and deaf loop and is fully accessible for those with physical disabilities. The auditorium can be partitioned to suit your requirements

Jubilee Room
The Jubilee room offers seating for up to 200 people. The lighting is adjustable, and the room features a built-in PA and a ventilation system.

There is also an exclusive entrance for access directly from the car park.

Refreshments can be served from the adjoining kitchen servery.

Alpha and Hosanna Rooms
The Alpha room can seat up to 80 people.

For smaller groups of up to 20 people, the Hosanna room is ideal. It can be used independently or in conjunction with the Jubilee room.

Kitchen Servery
The kitchen servery is directly accessible from the Jubilee room and the main auditorium. Previously groups of more than 400 people have been catered for.

There is also a cold drinks machine available in the main hall.

Equipment
In addition to PA and video projection, the The Hastings Centre Centre offers access to satellite TV, VCR, DVD, OHP, flipcharts, lectern, fax and the Internet.

Sports Activities
The main auditorium provides an extensive sports facility, including eight badminton/short tennis courts, table tennis tables, snooker and pool tables. All equipment is on site and available for hire

Outdoor Activities
The The Hastings Centre also has a 1.5-acre field available for hire in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Security
The building is fully equipped with fire and intruder alarm systems and emergency lighting. There are five emergency exits.

Car Parks
The car park can accommodate more than 160 cars, with additional spaces nearby
