'Wonderfully uplifting' festive celebration!

Liane Carroll and the King's Church choir"Wonderfully uplifting", "amazing service" and "fantastic evening" are just a few of the ways guests described our Christmas carol service on Sunday!

Over 900 people packed into the Hastings Centre for The Greatest Gift, which included incredible performances by award-winning local musician Liane Carroll, traditional carols, a dance performance, and, at the afternoon event, a song by some of our Totz Klub children.

We were also privileged to welcome a number of local decision-makers, including Hastings & Rye MP Amber Rudd who read from Luke's Gospel at the 4.30pm event, Chief Inspector Paul Phelps who brought the reading at the 7pm service, the Mayor of Hastings, local councillors Judy Rogers and Lee Clark, and local Labour Parliamentary candidate Sarah Owen.

Generous guests donated money to our local charity of the year, the Seaview Project, before enjoying mulled wine, mince pies and other festive refreshments.
