Exciting eldership news

On Sunday I shared the really exciting news that San and I are proposing Steve Young for eldership. Steve and his wife Lori have been in this church for many years and are known by many for their extraordinary gift of hospitality.
Steve & LoriOn top of that, Steve has been part of my core leadership team over the last few years, is chair of trustees for the church, and oversees our Community Groups. Together, he and Lori lead Friends International and are pastoral deacons. Lori also works for the church managing our finances.

These are exciting times for our church and increasing our leadership capacity is vital if we are to walk into all that God has in store for us. Steve will really strengthen our eldership team, bringing a great deal of wisdom and complementing San and me.

Please remember to let me have your feedback by the end of the month about the news about bringing Steve into eldership. And don't forget to put 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 February in your diary, as that's when – all being well – Dave Holden will join us and Steve will become an elder.
