Thought-provoking Unity Service

Unity Service January 2014On Sunday we had the privilege of hosting the annual Church Together Unity Service, which brought together 400 Christians from churches across the town.

Called 'The Call of the Kingdom', the event included a thought-provoking message from Richard Jackson, Missions and Renewal Advisor to the Diocese of Chichester, who challenged us that our personal holiness is the key to attracting non-Christians to our churches.

We worshipped God together, led by Caner, Jo and the band, and also had the opportunity to see almost 30 stalls showcasing the huge breadth of initiatives the local churches are running to bless and serve the town.

It was a pleasure to have various local councillors and decision-makers as guests at the event, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Hastings and leader of Hastings Borough Council Jeremy Birch.
