Update on Sunday children's groups

We’re so grateful to have such an amazing group of volunteers who serve often over 100 children each week in our Sunday morning children’s groups. We want to thank everyone who has signed up to help from this coming autumn. All of the forms have now been processed and those who applied shall be contacted shortly on what to do next.

We’re coming up to the time of year when children move up school years and that means for some, they will change Sunday children’s groups too. While the majority of children will be expected to move through the groups according to their age, we recognise that all children develop differently and some parents may concerned about a move this year. We aim to be as flexible as possible so please talk to the children’s workers so we can best support the needs of your child.

The following children’s groups are available every week throughout the church calendar:

Totz Klub (0-5) – This is a pre-school group. Parents are welcome to stay if they wish. The drop-off point for these children is in the Beech Room.

NRG (5-7) – If your child is in Key Stage 1 at school, this is for them! Meeting in the Birch Room (multi-purpose) each week, the children play games, worship and learn lots about God.

n:gage (7-11) – For children in Key Stage 2 at school. They meet in the Oak Room each week.

A number of transition activities have already been taking place over the summer term, for example Year 6 children in n:gage have already been to youth events on Friday nights.

If you have a child moving from Totz Klub to NRG, the Totz team would love to say goodbye to your child over the holidays and give them a present to say farewell. Please speak to one of the leaders if this affects you.
