Since the day King’s Church Hastings started with five people in a basement flat in St Leonards, we have been committed to both the Word of God and the Spirit of God. We actively pursue encounters with God through the Bible and the Holy Spirit that change us, making us more like Jesus and causing us to increasingly love God and love people. We don’t do this just for ourselves, but also to see the Kingdom of God bless and transform the communities around us.

We believe God is leading us into some great new adventures. Since September 2016, we have been working towards transitioning from one church with two Sunday meetings, to one church with four venues.

Our 10am Sunday meeting at the Hastings Centre will be ‘replanted’ in 2017 to strengthen our central location in preparation for multiple venues. As part of the ‘replanting’, we will be adapting the auditorium in order to accommodate going to four venues. Email for more information about how you can get involved.

6 o'clock

Launched in January 2017, 6 o’clock church meets in Coffee Box at 6pm on Sunday evenings. It’s led by Aled & Louise Cousins and Steve & Maddie Bacon, and focuses specifically on building community. We invite you to come as you are, live connected, be transformed, and join the adventure! Click here for more information.

St Leonards

Central St Leonards is one of the most diverse wards in this area, but it is also one of the most deprived. Throughout 2017 we will be forming a team to explore how we can bless this community. We hope to become a permanent presence in the area and, eventually, to hold Sunday meetings there too. Email if you would like to get involved.

We have started to gather a team to plant a venue of King’s Church into Bexhill. The forming team includes Steve & Lori Young and Andrew Bunt, who are planning to move there, as well as those who are committed to Bexhill. We are hoping to launch a weekly Sunday meeting there in January 2018. In the meantime, monthly ‘vision and values’ meetings are being held. Email for more information.
